Several new addresses will soon be on their way to Dungannon after the street name of a number of new developments were agreed.

At the recent monthly meeting of Dungannon Council's Strategic Service Delivery Committee, members agreed that a proposed housing development at Mullaghteigue Road, Dungannon be called "Welfield Manor".

It was also agreed that a proposed development at Killyneil Road, Dungannon be called "Laurel Mews" however a proposal to call a development at Killyman Road "Kilmerron" was not agreed upon as members felt this could be confused with Killymerron. It was agreed that it should be suggested to the developer that they put another name.
