A new support initiative providing vital suicide prevention training in Mid-Ulster, will prevent more lives being shattered, a Dungannon-based charity has said.

A 27-strong team of volunteers, including Dungannon man and Rushmere Shopping Centre Manager Martin Walsh, has just returned home from a 14,000km round trip to Uganda as part of a major school-building project.

A Dungannon man, now living in France, has assisted in the reburial of soldiers killed during the First World War.

Young people interested in taking part in this year’s Gannonball Run were given an action packed host of information at a Roadshow held in South West College on Tuesday 11th May.

There'll be thrills and spills aplenty at this year's Gannonball Run which takes place on Castle Hill and Market Square on Bank Holiday Monday 30th August!
