Staff in the Housing Executive's Dungannon Office have raised £600 for the Marie Curie Cancer Care Group.

The money was raised through a number of events including a sponsored walk, coffee morning and quiz organised by staff in the local office.

John McCartan, Dungannon District Manager told the Courier: "I would like to thank everyone who so generously supported our fundraising efforts. As well as raising much needed funds for Marie Curie's invaluable work, these were a great way to mark the Housing Executive's 40th anniversary."

The events held in Dungannon were among a number being organised across Northern Ireland to help mark the Housing Executive's 40th anniversary.
