Tyrone writer Emma Heatherington has taken a step to the dark side with her latest novel, "Beyond Sin" which she will launch at Bardic Theatre in Donaghmore on Tuesday 30 June at 7pm and everyone is welcome.

The book is part of a second range of novels that Emma has signed up to write for Poolbeg press the famous Dublin based book publisher who discovered many of Ireland's great women writers including Maeve Binchy, Cathy Kelly and Marian Keyes.

"Beyond Sin" tells the story of the wealthy O'Neill family whose home life is put under the spotlight when plans for their daughter Andrea's wedding are put under enormous strain as sinister happenings threaten to ruin everything.

When the bride's sister, the angelic Jessie, disappears at the wedding reception and is still not found days later, the finger of blame is pointed at members of her immediate family in a jigsaw full of missing pieces.

Emma told the Courier: "Beyond Sin" is published under the pseudonym Emma Louise Jordon and is quite different to my romantic comedy books.

"The publisher describes it as 'fiction with an edge' so its just that bit more gritty than my usual style, though I hope that people who read and enjoyed my first book 'Crazy For You' will enjoy this book as well.

"I am delighted to be able to write across tow different genres and I look forward to hearing some feedback from readers on this new type of writing."

"Beyond Sin" has already been selected as Hughes and Hughes Irish Novel of the month for July and Emma will be interviewed on TV3's Ireland AM on Thursday 2nd July.

A wine reception will begin the launch procedures at 7pm on Tuesday 30th June. If you wish to attend, please email mail@emma-heatherington.com or telephone Grace on 87769157.

Emma's website for all her writing work is www.emmaheatherington.com for romantic comedy enthusiasts, her next novel "Playing the Field" is due for release in late August.
