Members of Dungannon Borough Council including staff are planning a trip to Jarama in Spain.

The trip has been organised following an invitation from the Spanish Council and it is hoped that the trip could be used to explore the possibility of establishing financial links with the area.

I t has been proposed that the Cultural Diversity Officer and other Councillors should attend.

Explaining the purpose of the trip a Council Spokesperson said: "This is a cultural diversity programme where members of the local Council visit Local authorities in Spain and attend commemorations to honour local man Charlie Donnelly for his Spanish Civil War efforts."
