Dungannon Rotary Club assist local Charities Dungannon Rotary Club under the Presidency of Joan Gormley has had a very busy year and to date Dungannon Rotary Club has given donations totalling £9640 to the following charities: Habitat for Humanity, CHARIS, Cerebral Palsy, Vineyard, St Johns Ambulance, Mid Ulster Leukaemia Research, Northern Ireland Children's Hospital, Shelter Box, ABAANA, and Youth Leadership Development Competition. A further £4500 was distributed on 15th June to: The Firs Centre, Ballygawley (£500) Northern Ireland Children's Hospice (£1000). Once again the Rotary Club of Dungannon wishes to thank the public for supporting all our fund raising events such as The Charity Breakfast, "Shelter Box" where to date £7321 has been sent to Haiti, The Golf Charity Days, Masquerade Ball which raised £6532, The Quiz Night, The Tree of Remembrance and Hope, Santa's Grotto, Thanks for Life (End Polio Worldwide).
