Dungannon and South Tyrone District Council are organising a guided walking-tour of Castle Hill, Dungannon. The tour will be led by Dr Emily Murray, Centre for Archaeological Fieldwork, Queen's University Belfast.

In October 07, Castle Hill was the site of an investigation by the Time Team, in association with EHS and QUB. The excavation revealed the foundations of the O'Neill castle, side-by-side with a military fort constructed in the early 17th century after control of the hilltop had passed to Sir Arthur Chichester.
