Live Irish music was provided by pupils from local schools courtesy of Dungannon District Council who were in attendance to provide historical and cultural information about the town and surrounding the borough. The Mayor, Mr Barry Monteith, distributed shamrock to the visitors in advance of St Patrick's Day and the catering staff and students provided a sumptuous array of traditional Irish dishes. Finest local produce was provided for tasting courtesy of Genesis Bakery; Hughes Mushrooms & Quinfresh. The event was also supported by the Ulster Pork and Bacon Forum. The evening was rounded off with a prizegiving ceremony for the winners of an Inter-Campus Writing Competition.
