DUNGANNON's lively atmosphere and excellent amenities are not only appealing to residents, visitors and tourists, they are attracting interest from a wide range of investors. The town already boasts a strong representation of independent and specialist retailers and this offer is complemented by a range of well-established multi-nationals -- including highly-discerning multiples which are very selective indeed about where they locate new branches. |
The town already boasts a strong representation of independent and specialist retailers and this offer is complemented by a range of well-established multi-nationals -- including highly-discerning multiples which are very selective indeed about where they locate new branches.
There is still considerable potential for further growth in retail, leisure, residential, entertainment and other sectors in the town centre, to meet the current and future needs of a youthful, growing and economically active population, plus increasing numbers of visitors. Marketing and promotional activities such as the "Dungannon altogether better" campaign, are aimed at raising awareness of the town's many attractions, particularly among more than one million people who live within an hour's drive. The Award Winning Dungannon Regeneration Partnership (DRP) has been active in delivering a number of initiatives aimed at furthering the social, physical and economic regeneration of the town centre, including a Living Over The Shops (LOTS) Initiative, Shop Front Improvement Programme, Spruce Up Scheme, Townscape Heritage Initiative, Visitor Signage Scheme, Retail and Customer Care Training, and issuing Development Briefs for key opportunity sites. Plans are currently in place for a major Public Realm Initiative in the town centre. |
Highly-focused and committed organisations such as Dungannon Regeneration Partnership welcome the opportunity to help with your investment plans or discuss developments.
